FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology, namely to the device of a spacecraft, the purpose of which is to deliver a payload to a space body of natural origin that has a small gravitational field and is incapable of active evasive maneuvers, such as asteroids, comets, small satellites of planets. The spacecraft for delivering a payload to a space body with a small gravitational field, containing a service systems module and a payload module connected to each other, and the service systems module is made as a welded metal structure in the form of a straight octagonal prism made of rigidly connected longitudinal struts and transverse power elements, a landing device is installed on the lower part of the service systems module 1, including four landing supports consisting of a telescopically connected movable rod and a cylinder with a shock-absorbing honeycomb filler, connected to the struts, which, in turn, are connected by means of a bolted connection to the support plates located at the bottom of the rod. After finding a surface suitable for landing, the spacecraft approaches the surface of the space object.
EFFECT: proposed spacecraft is fixed on the surface of the space body using the operation of the propulsion system and the landing device, making it possible for the spacecraft to be oriented relative to the surface of the space body, thus cargo delivery is carried out.
