SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for preparing a detergent composition. A method for preparing a detergent composition is described, including following stages in the specified order: (a) obtaining an aqueous composition including citrate salt of alkaline metal; (b) reducing pH by adding the first, partially neutralized, polyacrylic acid having average weight molecular mass in the range of 1000-6000 for forming the second mixture; (c) increasing pH by adding alkaline metal carbonate for forming the third mixture, and (d) adding the second polyacrylic acid having average weight molecular mass in the range of 1000-6000 for forming the fourth mixture.
EFFECT: creation of a detergent composition in the form of stable gel-like material without the need to use standard thickeners.
