SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for tensioning a track belt. A normally open hydraulic distributor is installed before the entrance of the hydraulic cavity of the pneumohydraulic accumulator, locking the hydraulic cavity of the pneumohydraulic accumulator during movement with the leading sprocket facing forward.
EFFECT: secure tensioning of the track belt is achieved during movement of the excavator with the drive sprocket facing forward and on turning of the excavator.
