SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aircraft armament, in particular to the structures of cannon installations. The gun mount of the helicopter contains a base, a carriage, two projectile containers and two supply arms. The base is capable of turning relative to the helicopter body around the vertical axis. The carriage is installed on the base and is capable of turning around a horizontal axis passing in the transverse direction of the carriage. Each of the projectile containers contains a plurality of projectiles fixed in the belt, and is located on its side of the carriage. Each of the feeding sleeves directs the projectile tape from its projectile container to the inside of the carriage so that the projectile tape is fed from above. The carriage is provided with a support beam, which includes a median support section and two edge support sections. The middle support section of the support beam is attached to the bottom of the carriage. The edge support sections of the support beam are attached to the bottoms of the shell containers and extend in the transverse direction of the shell containers for more than half of their width.

EFFECT: reducing the weight of the gun mount is provided.
