FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of manufacture of building materials, namely, to the building and installation field in the area of fastening objects to walls, floors, ceilings. The term "anchor nail" relates to a product consisting of two main elements: an anchor and a spacer bar element. The anchor nail is used for performing fastening works and is applied for mounting objects to solid dense materials. The anchor nail fastener, consisting of an anchor and a spacer bar element, is made by a mould with a closure plane without additional moving elements, is made of a thermoplastic polymer in the form of a one-piece casting unit, ready for assembly and equipped with a spacer system for secure fixation. The anchor is made in the form of a cylinder with a collar by the upper base and with a slot along the entire axial plane of the cylinder. The slot divides the cylinder of the anchor into two equal parts interconnected by the lower base. The spacer bar element is made in the form of a nail with an upper head and is directed along the axial line of the anchor. The nail is located with the lower part thereof in the upper part of the slot of the anchor and is connected with the anchor by breakable bridges. The surfaces of the anchor nail can be made either smooth or with protrusions and recesses. The mated shapes of the slot and the surface of the spacer bar element are optimised for wedging the anchor, thereby providing self-centering and secure fixation of the anchor over the diameter of the hole in the wall or other surface. The method for installation and operation of the anchor nail fastener consists in the fact that the anchor nail is first inserted into a pre-drilled hole, then a force is applied to the end part of the nail head along the axis of the anchor using a hand tool for mounting work, the bridges are broken, and the anchor is expanded by the movement of the nail and securely fixated over the diameter of the hole in the wall or other surface.

EFFECT: manufacture of anchor nails suitable for mounting objects to solid dense materials.
