FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to compositions for stabilising fertilisers. The composition for stabilising nitrogen-containing fertilisers comprises: (A) a mixture containing no less than one (thio)phosphoric acid triamide by the general formula (I)

wherein X constitutes oxygen or sulphur; R¹ constitutes a C₁-C₂₀alkyl, C₃-C₂₀cycloalkyl, C₆-C₂₀ aryl or dialkylaminoalkyl group; R² constitutes H or R¹ and R² together with a nitrogen atom binding them represent a 5- or 6membered saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic radical optionally containing 1 or 2 additional heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur, and (L14) polyethylenimine by the General formula (V)

with an average molar weight (MW) of 200 to 1,000,000 g/mol, wherein R¹-R⁶ independently constitute hydrogen, a linear or branched radical of a C₁-C ₂₀-alkyl, -alkoxy, -polyoxyalkylene, -polyoxyethylene, -hydroxyalkyl, -(alkyl)carboxy, -phosphonoalkyl, alkylamino, C₂-C₂₀-alkenyl radicals or radicals of C₆-C₂₀-aryl, -aryloxy, -hydroxyaryl, -arylcarboxy or -arylamino, optionally additionally substituted, and R², R³ and R⁵ may independently optionally constitute additional polyethylenimine polymer chains, and R¹ may optionally constitute an NR³R⁴ or NH₂ radical, and x, y, and z independently constitute 0 or an integer, wherein the sum of x, y, and z must be selected so that the average molar weight is in the predetermined range; and additionally contains a mixture of propane-1,2-diol (alpha-propylene glycol) and DMSO.

EFFECT: proposed composition for stabilising nitrogen-containing fertilisers has a high urease inhibition indicator, is stable during storage and suitable for application as an additive or a coating material for nitrogen-containing fertilisers.
