FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is described, including a composition for urease inhibition, a urea-based fertilizer including the above-mentioned composition for urease inhibition, and the use of a composition for urease inhibition as an additive or material for covering a fertilizer containing urea. In one of embodiments, the composition includes at least one thiophosphoric acid triamide of the general formula (I) R1R2N-P(X)(NH2)2 (I), in which X is oxygen or sulfur; R1 and R2 are independently selected from a group including hydrogen, 2-nitrophenyl, C1-10 alkyl, C3-10 cycloalkyl, C3-10 heterocycloalkyl, C6-10 aryl, C6-10 heteroaryl, and diaminocarbonyl, or R1 and R2, together with a nitrogen atom connecting them, form 5- or 6-element saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic fragment, which optionally contains 1 or 2 additional heteroatoms selected from a group including nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of means for urease inhibition.
