FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to oncology; it is intended to predict the development of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women with breast cancer receiving antiestrogenic therapy. In a patient, the level of osteocalcin, the concentration of procollagen type 1 N-terminal propeptide (P1NP), the level of C-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen (b-Cross laps), the histological subtype of the tumor and the presence of polymorphisms rs9594759 and rs9594738 of the RANKL gene are determined. The diagnostic index F1 is calculated based on the formula. At a value of F1<0, a high probability of osteoporosis is predicted. At F1>0, a low risk of osteoporosis is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides the development of an effective method for predicting the development of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women with breast cancer receiving antiestrogenic therapy.
