SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to electric generator sets, and can be used both in power plants and in electric units with internal combustion engines. An electric generator set containing an external sectional casing with a vibronoise-absorbing material is proposed. The external sectional casing mounted on the frame of the electric unit (1) contains a central section (I), a replaceable end section (II) equipped with an air vent louver (5) and a replaceable end section (III) equipped with an air intake louver (14). The replaceable end sections (II, III) are made unified with the possibility of placing electric generator set systems in them, and the docking points of the sections are equipped with labyrinth-type locks (17). At the same time, in the central section (I), an internal combustion engine (23) mounted on a frame connected to a generator (26), an air purifier (25) of an internal combustion engine, and a cooling system (22) are placed. In the end section (II) there is an air duct with an exhaust system muffler installed inside (4), and in the end section (III) there is an air pre-cleaner connected to an internal combustion engine air cleaner.

EFFECT: creating an electric generator set with an external sectional casing, the design of which makes it possible to create new modifications based on the basic electric generator set, by installing or replacing, or various combinations of unified replaceable end sections of the casing designed to perform predefined functions.
