FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgical instruments used in traumatology and orthopedics during operations on bones and joints in order to separate the periosteum from the bone, exfoliate cartilage tissues and release bone fragments from scar tissue. A surgical raspatory for intra-articular manipulations consists of a working part and a handle. The working part is made no more than 1.5 mm thick and concave in the frontal and sagittal planes, with lateral cutting edges on a concave surface with a sharpening of 25-30° and an end cutting edge on a convex surface with a sharpening of 25-30°. The handle is made cylindrical in shape with longitudinal edges.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to provide full-fledged visualization of the cavity of the injured joint, atraumatic separation of intra-articular soft tissues from articular cartilage and the achievement of anatomical reposition of fragments in intra-articular fractures.
