FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgical instruments used in traumatology and orthopedics during operations on bones and joints in order to reposition and fix fragments while restoring bone integrity. A single-pronged hook for bone operations consists of a handle, a rod and a hook. The distal end of the rod at the base of the hook has an ellipsoid pad with double-sided sharpening of the side edges for shifting soft tissues. The hook is installed rectilinearly at an angle of no more than 60° to the rod and is made with double-sided sharpening along the inner edge.
EFFECT: use of the invention ensures the achievement of anatomical reposition of fragments in bone fractures.
