FIELD: polyurethane production.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an elastomeric composite polyurethane sheathing, a method for its production, as well as to a profiled product including the specified sheathing. Elastomeric composite polyurethane sheathing has an average elastic modulus of less than 35 MPa. The specified sheathing includes the first aliphatic polyurethane layer and the second aromatic polyurethane layer. The first polyurethane layer is obtained from the first polyurethane reaction mixture, where the first polyurethane reaction mixture contains at least one isocyanate compound (A1) containing at least two NCO groups that are not directly attached to an aromatic group, at least one component reactive to isocyanate (B1) and at least one catalyst component (C1), where the catalyst component (C1) is essentially lead-free. The second aromatic polyurethane layer is obtained from the second polyurethane reaction mixture, where the second polyurethane reaction mixture contains at least one aromatic isocyanate compound (A2) and at least one component reactive to isocyanate (B2). The second average weight per unit of a surface area of the second aromatic polyurethane layer is less than 300 g/m2. The average weight per unit of a surface area of elastomeric composite polyurethane sheathing is equal to or less than 750 g/m2.

EFFECT: resulting sheathings demonstrate good flexibility, as well as retain excellent material properties such as tensile strength and tear resistance, in addition, they are safe for the environment, demonstrating reduced levels of emissions, and can be produced at reduced costs.
