FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reaction system for catalyzing formation of polyurethane material in a mold, to method for producing reaction system and its application, and also to polyurethane-containing material and method for producing it. Reaction system for catalyzing formation of polyurethane material includes at least one lithium halide compound, at least one epoxy compound, a polyisocyanate composition containing polyisocyanate compounds, and a monopoly or polyol composition. In this case, at least one lithium halide compound and at least one epoxy compound form polyurethane catalyst “in place”. Amount of epoxide is such that the number of epoxy equivalents based on isocyanate equivalents is in the range of from more than 0 up to 0.095, and the number of moles of lithium halide per isocyanate equivalent is in the range of 0.0001–0.06. Isocyanate index is in the range of 80–150. Method of obtaining reaction system consists in combining and dissolving above components. Next, reaction is performed at elevated temperature, comprising at least 50 °C, to obtain a polyurethane-containing material. Reaction system is used to improve viability of reaction polyisocyanate system.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase viability of the reaction polyisocyanate system in the absence of a loss of degree of conversion and to achieve rapid curing of the reaction system.
