SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of microbiology, epidemiology, sanitation, hygiene and is intended to combat biological films of bacteria. The method for combating biological films includes two stages, while at the first stage biological films are detected using a catalase test and microbiological flushes are carried out from surfaces using enzyme preparations, and at the second stage microorganisms in the state of biological films are destroyed with preparations based on multi-enzyme mixtures. At the same time, at the first step of the first stage, an indicator for the catalase reaction containing hydrogen peroxide in an amount of 0.5 to 3.0% is used, and at the second step of the first stage, an express test is used that destroys the exopolysaccharide matrix (EPM) of the biofilm, while the indicator for the test contains a mixture of enzymes of the carbohydrase class. At the second stage, a multi-enzyme mixture and active substances with bactericidal and fungicidal effects against separately growing planktonic forms of bacteria and fungi are used.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the effectiveness of the fight against biological films.
