FIELD: clockwork mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shock-absorbing support (10) for a wheel axis of a clock, in particular for a balance axis. Shock-absorbing support (10) includes support part (11) with a socket, support element (20) located inside the socket and containing outer centering wall (23b), trunnion support (24) installed on support element (20) to receive the trunnion of the wheel axis, and elastic support device (25) for the trunnion of the wheel axis. In addition, shock-absorbing support (10) contains a centering device. This centering device contains, on the one hand, the first part containing a centering element with an inner centering wall, inside which outer centering wall (23b) of support element (20) is located, and, on the other hand, the second part resting on support part (11) and providing returning action on the first part.
EFFECT: providing self-centering and correcting backlash.
