FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: cutting billet (10) for the manufacture of packaging made of paper, cardboard or plastic includes three side surfaces (12, 14, 16, 18), as well as at least one bottom tongue and/or lid tongue (20, 24) to form a three-dimensional structure in the folded state of the cutting billet. Two side surfaces and/or one of side surfaces with the bottom tongue and/or the lid tongue are connected to each other by at least one mechanically manufactured crease line (36, 38, 40, 56, 58). The crease line is made without dismantling or otherwise removing material of the cutting billet. Inside at least one of side surfaces (14, 16, 18) connected by the crease line, at least one laser-made groove (62, 64, 66, 68, 70) is made, which is made passing at an angle to the crease line, and which meets it or crosses it.
EFFECT: by reducing the residual stress in the crease line, back folding of the crease line is prevented, since residual stresses can be diverted into the laser-made groove.
