SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a roller made with the possibility of supporting a rotating platform. Roller (8) contains at least one side flange (8a, 8b) containing inner surface (8a1, 8b1), rolling surface (8c), which must be in contact with flat rolling surface (4c) of upper rail element (4) connected motionlessly to rotating platform (1), and flat rolling surface (5c) of lower rail element (5) mounted motionlessly. The roller additionally contains circular recess (8e) connecting rolling surface (8c) with inner surface (8a1, 8b1) of side flange (8a, 8b), and circular recess (8e) has such a depth that flat rolling surfaces (4c, 5c) of upper rail element (4) and lower rail element (5) do not come into contact with lower surface (8e1) of the circular recess with a potential angular deviation between flat rolling surfaces (4a, 5a) of rail elements (4, 5) and axis (8g) of rotation of roller (8).

EFFECT: creation of a roller made with the possibility of supporting a rotating milking platform, the design of which provides an extended service life.
