FIELD: computing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an augmented reality system. The augmented reality system comprises an image processing and projection unit including components enclosed in a body: a power distributor intended for powering the components of said unit, an Android-based computing module intended for controlling the components of said unit, an LCD projector, a mirror with a mirror positioning apparatus, an infrared searchlight, a 3D camera and an infrared camera, multiple markers made in the form of separate elements in shape of geometric shapes, wherein information encoding elements are applied to the markers by means of a reflective coating.

EFFECT: increase in the availability of the interactive system, simplification of the system, expansion of the functional capabilities in the form of providing multiple modes of operation, increase in the accuracy of reading encoded information from the markers of the system without increasing the requirements for the resolution of apparatus when reading the information, ensured minimisation of shadows and improved operation of the cameras.
