FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and is a method for obtaining a constant line of sugar beet resistant to glyphosate by creating forms of sugar beet tolerant to glyphosate as donors of resistance on the basis of domestic separate fruit lines. In order to create a constant line of sugar beet resistant to glyphosate, the proposed partially stable heterozygous sugar beet materials of unknown origin are used. After that, forced self-pollination is performed, analyzing crosses. Then reproduction is carried out according to the type of sibs. Next, paired and group insulators are used, and plants of experimental forms of the first year of vegetation are treated in the phase of the first or second pair of real leaves with glyphosate at a dose of 2.0 l/ha.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the genotype and create constant lines of sugar beet - donors of glyphosate resistance with new economically valuable traits, as well as to produce hybrid seeds.
