FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a capacitor installation that can be used for multi-stage regulation of reactive power in power supply networks. The condenser unit contains two three-phase capacitor banks, each of which is connected by a triangle, three sides of which consist of two identical capacitors connected in series, while the vertices of the triangles are connected to the network through two three-phase sectional switches, while the system is equipped with a switch for connecting to the network, shunted by two power valve keys from counter-parallel connected controlled and uncontrolled valves, two pulse shapers, a delay element, an amplifier and a pulse duration shaper. The switch is turned on via an amplifier, a delay element and a second delay element, the output of which is connected to the inputs of the pulse generators, and the input is connected to the output of the logic element AND, the input of which is connected to the outputs of the analog-to-digital converter, the signals of which turn on the sectional switches.
EFFECT: reducing switching interference, increasing reliability and increasing the service life of capacitor banks.
