FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cutting wood-based panels and can be used in the woodworking industry as a circular saw for format cutting of wood-based panels and their cutting into parts. A circular saw for cutting the face of veneered wood-based panels includes a body (1) with a bore for the shaft diameter (2) and two cutting edges (3) with one-sided sharpening at a sharpening angle of 15-25° each, forming a cut profile in the form of a half-trapezoid with a width of 3-6 mm and a depth of 0.5-1.5 mm depending on the thickness of the cladding of the wood board.

EFFECT: chipping of the cladding is excluded when trimming the face of wood-based panels.
