SUBSTANCE: pulsating combustion heat generator (PCHG) contains a valve-mixing device at the entrance to the combustion chamber, the exit from which is communicated with the atmosphere through resonator pipes and a chimney. The valve-mixing device consists of a block of air check valves, a mixing pipe with a flame stabilizer rod and a surrounding row of metering holes made in the mixing pipe for supplying fuel gas from a gas receiver through a gas check valve and installing a spark plug. The swirler of the flame stabilizer rod is located at the outlet of the mixing pipe and the inlet to the combustion chamber, while the valve-mixing device is equipped with an air blower for starting the PCHG. A flame arrester is installed at the entrance to the valve-mixing device in front of the block of air check valves, consisting of housing with a cassette placed in it, made of a wound strip of wire mesh or corrugated sheet. The flame arrester and the block of air check valves are placed in a single housing, forming a flameproof enclosure, and the cavity between the flame arrester and the block of air check valves of this flameproof enclosure communicates with the inlet to the air blower for starting the PCHG, located in an additional flameproof enclosure, by means of a flameproof pipe. The outlet from the air blower is connected to the cavity behind the block of air check valves at the inlet to the combustion chamber by means of an explosion-proof pipe, and a high-voltage source is also located in an additional explosion-proof enclosure for supplying high-voltage current to the candle by means of an explosion-proof cable with a corresponding explosion-proof termination at the inlet to the candle, when the chimney is also equipped with a flame arrester.
