FIELD: genetic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system of selective disclosure of attributes, for example, attributes of a phenotype, and information elements of a record, for example, sections of genomic data. Some embodiments relate to a system of selective disclosure of attributes and information elements of a record. An issuer device generates a digital signature on a message containing attributes and a secret record identifier, and digital signatures on messages that contain relevant information elements, and each of which contains a secret record identifier. The record, the secret record identifier, and signatures are provided to a selector device. The selector device selectively discloses attributes and information elements of the record to a recipient device, proving authenticity by means of a zero-disclosure proof of knowledge of the signature on attributes and signatures on corresponding information elements. The recipient device verifies the proof relatively to an issuer public key and received attributes and information elements.
EFFECT: claimed group of inventions provides a more efficient automated method for ensuring the authenticity of selectively disclosed records.
