METHOD FOR CLAIMING LIABILITY FOR CARD-RELATED ACTION BY CLIENT AND FOR ACCEPTING THE CLAIM BY ISSUER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: selling goods and services, lotteries, banks and finances. SUBSTANCE: cards are equipped with identifier and verifier, which is hidden by stealth device. According to said method, card holder presents card identifier to card issuer and gives order for execution of respective liability. Issuer checks absence of signed confirmation which relates presented identifier with an order which differs from the presented one. Then issuer puts signature on confirmation, which relates said identifier and the order, and offers signed confirmation to the client. The client checks signature of issuer on confirmation and offers card verifier to issuer. Issuer checks that verifier corresponds to identifier, accepts liability corresponding one specified on card and client's order.
