FIELD: processing of beryllium-containing concentrates. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes blending of concentrates with silicon-, calcium- and sodium-containing materials, melting of blend, water- stream granulation of melt, its grinding and leaching with sulfuric acid. Initial charge is comprised of blend of beryllium and fluorspar-bertrandite-phenacite concentrates to obtain SiO2:CaO: CaO ratio equalling 1.3- 1.4 and sodium carbonate in quantity sufficient to obtain SiO2:(CaO+Na2O) ratio in mixture equalling 1.1-1.3. EFFECT: higher efficiency of beryllium recovery and reduced consumption of flux and power. 2 tbl
