SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine; it is intended for the treatment, relief or prevention of hypercytokinemia in a subject who needs it; it includes the injection to a subject of the therapeutically effective or prophylactically effective amount of a compound stabilizing mast cells for the treatment, relief or prevention of hypercytokinemia, where the compound stabilizing mast cells is norketotifen or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. A method for the treatment, relief or prevention of a disorder related to hypercytokinemia , and a method for the treatment, relief or prevention of fever in a subject are also presented.

EFFECT: providing more effective method for balancing the inhibition of an immune response of an organism that is too strong and provision of a response that is too low to provide treatment that allows one to solve both problems: an initial condition, to which an organism reacts (i.e., infection), and resulting hypercytokinemia.
