SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition for prevention or treatment of a rhinovirus or influenza infection. A pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of a rhinovirus or influenza infection contains a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and therapeutically effective amount of at least two active agents selected from lactoferrin, lysozyme, ICAM-1, sialic acid, and neuraminidase inhibitor. A method for the prevention and/or treatment of a human rhinovirus infection includes application of the composition to mucous membranes of the nasal and/or oral cavity of an individual who needs it. A method for the prevention and/or treatment of a human influenza virus infection includes application of the composition to mucous membranes of the nasal and/or oral cavity of an individual who needs it.
EFFECT: above-described composition has synergetic activity relatively to prevention or treatment of a rhinovirus or influenza infection.
