SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of laminated glazing and concerns a viscoelastic plastic separator designed to be placed between two sheets of glass (1, 2) of the glazing in order to impart to it the properties of vibroacoustic damping. The separator includes: two outer layers (4, 5) of thermoplastic adhesive; one inner layer (3) located between the two outer layers (4, 5), while the specified inner layer (3) has a loss coefficient greater than or equal to 1.6 at 20°C and in the frequency range from 2 to 8 kHz; both the first and second barrier layers (6, 7), located between the outer layers (4, 5) and the inner layer 3 and formed of a plastic viscoelastic material.

EFFECT: invention provides a separator for laminate glazing with improved properties of reducing the noise propagating both through the air and through the structure, in particular, at the frequency of coincidences while maintaining satisfactory parameters in terms of rigidity, thinness and lightness.
