SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail vehicle and concerns the design of a pneumatic brake (1). In pneumatic brake (1) during braking by means of pneumatic pressure from receiver (2) of the brake air, the brake pads are pressed against the friction partner, and the receiver (2) of the brake air is fed from the supply (3) of compressed air, while filling and outflow of compressed air from receiver (2) of the brake air is carried out through a flow restriction device.
EFFECT: preservation of pneumatic brake operability for rail vehicle when the brake air receiver fails.
