FIELD: shipping industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic means of controlling vessels, as well as to solutions for monitoring indicators or operational parameters of vessels during operation, in particular for controlling the operation of vessels, for example, for monitoring their speed, course using models or simulation, for example statistical or stochastic models, and can be used in experiments on the introduction of technologies for unmanned (autonomous) navigation, including in real life. The technical objective of the invention is to simplify and reduce the cost of studying the problems of identification and management of vessels with coastal remote control support. The auto pilot located on the shore module generates control actions on the controls of a small-sized experimental vessel based on data processed using a computer of higher performance compared to the microcontroller installed on board the vessel, which ensures accuracy, reliability and speed of automatic control of the vessel along the trajectory.
EFFECT: placement of the auto pilot as part of the shore module provides the faster formation of more accurate control actions on the control facilities of a small-sized experimental vessel.
