SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for automatic pilotage of a ship. For automatic pilotage of the vessel, the collection and analysis of the kinematic parameters of the vessel, the calculation of deviations from the set course and trajectory, the sequential switching of the trajectory arms along which the control is carried out, the calculation of the control action in a certain way in accordance with the calculated and obtained kinematic and navigation data of the vessel, maneuvering by the vessel by means of control actions on the vessel, and also identify the mathematical model of the movement of the vessel in a certain way.
EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of automatic ship pilotage.
