FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication. Network equipment in a wireless communication network is configured to receive at least a portion of a hidden subscription identifier, SUCI, for a subscriber. SUCI contains a hidden persistent subscription identifier, SUPI, for the subscriber. At least part of the received SUCI indicates the subdomain code, SDC. SDC indicates a certain subdomain among several subdomains (30-1, 30-2, ... 30-N) of the home network of the subscriber to which the subscriber is assigned. The network equipment is configured to define an instance of the provider network function for providing the service received by the subscriber based on the SDC and among several instances (24-1, 24-2, ... 24-M) of the provider network function in the home network, distributed respectively to provide the service, received by subscribers assigned to different subdomains.
EFFECT: technical result consists in choosing an instance of the network function, providing the ability to connect to other components of the core network without introducing new interfaces.
