SUBSTANCE: device for catching bed bugs has a closed frame for placing at least one human. On this frame, a bottom is located, wherein this bottom closes the frame from one side. On upper edges of the frame, a circumferential groove is located. All inner sides of the frame and an inner side of the bottom, as well as a transition area from the inner side of the bottom to inner sides of the frame are essentially made without cracks and/or slits, in particular smooth. On the frame, at least one trap for bed bugs is located, wherein this trap for bed bugs continuously embraces the whole frame, and it is located on the bottom of the groove. The invention also concerns a bed having such a device.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of combating bed bugs without the use of a poison.
