FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, mainly to equipping hospital rooms with beds with bedridden patient taking careers requiring medical assistance to change body position repeatedly during a day. Invention allows to use beds in conditions of deficiency of the areas of hospital chambers, at narrow apertures of doors, at transportation of beds in lifts, and so forth. It is also advisable to use beds at home, in nursing homes, in hospices. Bed is made in base tubular frame 1 on four legs 3 with wheels 4. Upper part of the frame is bed 2 with mattress 5 fitted in it and covered with a case from medical fabric. Corresponding backs 6 and 7 with quick-detachable fasteners are attached to the head and foot end sides of the frame. To equip the bed with the bed patient turning function, a tilting unit is mounted on the bed, which represents two protections 9 and 10 one by one on each lateral side. On the upper crossbar of each of the enclosures there is cylindrical coil 11 with conveyor belt 12 wound on it in several rows and lying on the mattress (under the patient). Width of its ~3/4 of length of body (minus head and legs) of patient. Coils 11 with their journals are supported by bearings in axle boxes 13 on enclosures and can be rotated by external torque (swing 8), winding conveyor belt 12 and dragging patient body. Protections 9 and 10 in their lower part have hinges, axes of which are located under bed 2 with an offset to the middle of the bed, which provides for the deflecting of the enclosures with their reclining as the transverse dimension of the bed. Protections 9 and 10 can have two positions: upper working with pressing against stops 14 on backs 6 and 7 and fixing them with flap bolts 15 with nuts 16 (for example); lower reclined - for free access to patient and in case of transportation in hospital.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the labor cost of overturning a bed patient with providing the function of restraining bedding under it.
