FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to the cultivation of rice, and can be used to diagnose the deficiency of trace elements in rice seeds. The method includes growing plants, treating plants with micronutrient fertilizers and diagnosing deficient micronutrients according to the physiological characteristics of the plant. The diagnosis of deficient microelements is carried out on rice seeds, and the strength of seed growth is used as a physiological indicator. Preliminarily, from a batch of rice seeds intended for pre-sowing treatment, according to the number of microelements under study, samples of 100 seeds in each are taken and each sample is treated with one of the studied microelements in a semi-dry way at the rate of 10 liters of working solution per 1 ton of seed. Then they are sown and germinated for 10 days. In the sprouts that have appeared, the linear dimensions, dry weight of the sprout and root, the number of germinated sprouts are determined, and for each sample the strength of seed growth is determined by the formula: CHGS=(DWR+DWS)+CHS, where CHGS is the strength of seed growth; DWR - dry weight of the root, mg; DWS - dry weight of the sprout, mg; CHS - the number of sprouts, pcs./100 seeds. The obtained values of the seed growth force are compared with each other and the deficient microelement is determined by its maximum value, then the pre-sowing treatment of rice seeds is carried out with the same microelement. The processing of rice seed samples is carried out with 0.5% aqueous solutions of boron, cobalt, molybdenum and copper and 1% aqueous solutions of manganese and zinc.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in productivity by increasing the efficiency of pre-sowing treatment of rice seeds.
