FIELD: metals processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure with a pulsed magnetic field. The device contains a base, a base plate with a frame, in which a magnetic-pulse unit with a cylindrical inductor and a shaping tool is installed, and a pneumatic system with upper and lower pneumatic cylinders. The shaping tool is made in the form of upper and lower shaping mandrels fixed on the rods of the pneumatic cylinders. The lower pneumatic cylinder is located in the center hole of the base. The upper pneumatic cylinder is installed on top of the frame coaxially with the lower pneumatic cylinder. The upper mandrel is provided with a stop projection and is made with the possibility of tightly pressing against the lower mandrel to obtain a shaping profile. The base plate is horizontally fixed on the base coaxially with its hole.

EFFECT: increase in accuracy of the diametrical dimensions of the parts obtained.
