FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metals treatment by pressure by pulsed magnetic field of metal shells according to the "crimping" scheme. Device comprises support plates with radial grooves, cylindrical inductor arranged between them, coaxially fixed to inductor bushing of elastic material and placed between them shaft element of cylindrical shape, annular shaping tool mounted in contact with resilient sleeve and on the side facing shell made of composite of individual annular segments spring-loaded to each other in circumferential direction. Device also includes copper ring electrodes, bottom plate made from electrically insulating material. In this case, supporting ring plates are made with embedded rings of heat-resistant material for fixing shell therein, one of the supporting ring plates is fixed in said lower plate, and the other support ring plate is formed with axis of electrical insulating material embedded therein. One electrode is fixed to said lower plate, and second is rotatably mounted on said axis and can move along it.
EFFECT: device technological capabilities are expanded due to the possibility of processing hard-to-deform materials.
