FIELD: diving equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of diving equipment, namely to devices for video surveillance of the underwater environment and control of underwater technical work. The device consists of a universal underwater module and a control module, located on the watercraft or, if possible, on the shore, interconnected by a communication cable. The underwater module has six infrared video cameras providing all-round visibility, six hydroacoustic emitters installed coaxially with them, an underwater microphone, a deep electric thermometer and a strain gauge digital depth gauge. Signals from all these devices are sent to the information concentrator with a transceiver mounted in the body of the underwater module, and then the information is fed through the communication cable to the transceiver of the control module, which also contains a GPS receiver. Information from the transceiver and from the GPS receiver is output to the information storage and display device.
EFFECT: provision of constant all-round visibility. The safety and efficiency of underwater survey and diving operations is increased.
