FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to various fields of mechanical engineering (automotive, automotive, energy, etc.) and can be used as a method for creating carbon antifriction working surfaces of elements of heavily loaded friction units (for example, sliding and rolling bearings). The method is as follows: multilayer graphene is obtained using chemical exfoliation of GSM-2 graphite. A 10 wt.% concentrate of multilayer graphene in I-20 oil is prepared, followed by sonication at a frequency of 22 kHz for 30 min. The resulting concentrate is introduced into Litol-24 at 70-80°C, in an amount of 0.2% by weight and dispersed in a ball mill at a temperature of 20-25° for 10 minutes. Samples for applying a carbon coating are made of ShKh-15 steel (GOST 2590-88), with a hardness of HRC 60…62 in the form of rollers 50 mm in diameter and 12 mm wide. The roughness of the surface of the samples is Ra=800 nm (0.8 mcm). Radial load is 250N. According to the proposed method, the carbon coating is obtained directly during the operation of the friction unit.
EFFECT: claimed method will make it possible to obtain an antifriction carbon coating directly during the operation of friction units, without resorting to complex technological operations and the use of expensive equipment.
