FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to various machine building (heavy, transport, aerospace, automotive, power, etc.) and can be used to create working surfaces of elements of heavy-duty friction assemblies (for example, rolling and sliding bearings, cam mechanisms, etc.). Invention discloses a novel antifriction coating composition, which provides a significant increase in antifriction properties of the lubricated friction assemblies. Antifriction coating includes a highly oriented boundary layer of lubricant molecules and a layer of nanostructured monocrystalline carbon with thickness of 10-6…10-8 m doped with molybdenum, which comprises an increased amount of adsorption centers formed during its application, wherein coating has monocrystalline nanostructured linear-chain structure. Increase in antifriction properties is achieved both due to doping with molybdenum, which in case of destruction of boundary layer due to overloads as a result of interaction with sulfur-containing lubricating medium forms in tribological contact of known solid lubricant molybdenum disulphide, and due to regular location of adsorption centers, which enhance adsorption properties of carbon.
EFFECT: disclosed antifriction coating.
