DEVICE FOR MEASURING HEART WORK PARAMETERS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B5/24 A61B5/1455

Abstract RU 2760994 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a wearable device for measuring heart work parameters. The device contains a case that is equipped with a means for fixing on a human body, a power source installed inside the case, two diode sources of laser radiation. One of diode sources has a wavelength from 540 nm to 550 nm, the other one – from 560 nm to 570 nm. Each of diode sources is equipped with a means of converting laser radiation reflected from the human body into an electrical signal carrying information about heart work parameters. The device additionally contains the second pair of diode sources of laser radiation. At the same time, one of them has a wavelength from 540 nm to 550 nm, and the other one – from 560 nm to 570 nm. One of laser radiation sources forming the pair provides longitudinal polarization, and the second one provides transverse polarization. The device contains a memory unit for recording information about heart work and a unit for transmitting information about heart work parameters.

EFFECT: due to the use of laser sources with different wavelengths and different polarizations, an increase in the accuracy of the study is achieved, since, thus, the influence of external illumination is eliminated and, after mathematical processing, a better overall signal is obtained by adding two independent intensity curves of the reflected signal received from red blood cells with different spatial orientation.
