FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to spectroscopic analysis of leaks of fluid from pipelines of natural gas or oil. The system for remote quantitative detection of leaks of fluid with utilisation of an airborne platform consists of at least one laser source of light for simultaneous radiation of two or more target fluids and of underlying surface, which are characterised with two or more absorption wave lengths; also wave length different from each of target fluids corresponds to underlying surface. The source of light is directed on base of a system of positioning in geometric region along the trajectory of flight at scanning for detection of two or more target fluids with usage of sources of light. The signal detector detects two or more fluids with quantitative processing of the signal. The system also consists of a controller, of a facility for processing and evaluating the trajectory of flight for positioning of airborne platform of an aircraft, and of communicating facility for signaling about a leak in the pipeline.
EFFECT: invention facilitates upgraded sensitivity of leaks detection.
