SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, can be used to diagnose dysplastic, degenerative and traumatic pathology of bone and soft tissue structures of the feet. With the help of magnetic resonance imaging, a scan is performed. After placing the patient in a position of symmetrical internal rotation of the hip joints by 15 degrees and flexion in the knee joints by 30 degrees with plantar flexion in the ankle joints at an angle of 50 degrees and pronation of the anterior part of the feet by 15 degrees, reaching the contact of the heels with each other and the divergence of the medial surfaces of the first metatarsophalangeal joints from each other.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of diagnostics of all bone and soft tissue structures of two feet simultaneously and a reduction in scanning time due to synchronous comparative analysis during MR imaging.
