FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, can be used to diagnose dysplastic, degenerative and traumatic pathology of bone and soft tissue structures of the ankle joints. With the help of magnetic resonance imaging, simultaneous scanning of both joints is performed. To do this, the patient is placed in a position of symmetrical internal rotation of the hip joints by 15 degrees to the central axis of the body with the neutral position of the ankle joints, achieving the formation of symmetrical angles of 90 degrees between the axes passing through the shin and the talus block on each side and the axis between the inner and outer ankle of both joints in the horizontal plane.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of diagnostics of all bone and soft tissue structures of two feet simultaneously and a reduction in scanning time due to synchronous comparative analysis during MR imaging.
