SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for determination of mobility and mutual arrangement of heterotopic para-articular ossicitis in hip area after endoprosthesis installation. Performing a radiograph of the hip joint in the anterior-posterior projection, in the patient's lying on the back, with the X-ray beam vertical direction, distance of the radial tube from table is 1 meter. Examination is performed in three positions of the lower extremity: I laying - extension 180° in hip and knee joints, lead 0°, rotation 0°, II and III laying - bending in hip and knee joints 90° and lead in hip 30°. X-ray beam centering is oriented to the femoral neck. Radiography in the second placement is performed in the position of the maximum possible for the given patient at the moment of examination of the internal rotation in the hip joint, and the X-ray picture in the III lay is in the external rotation position.

EFFECT: method provides more accurate detection of ossificates in patients after hip replacement and reduced volume of iatrogenic surgical injury in planning the surgical intervention by selecting optimal access in various positions of the patient's limb.
