FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The mechanism for transferring rotation between parallel shafts contains a driving and a driven coupling half, on the sides facing each other of which cam profiles are made in the form of a system of rectilinear protrusions. The protrusions are oriented at an angle to the radii of the links and are located symmetrically relative to the rotation axes of the half-couplings. Between the driving and driven half-couplings, there is a set of separate free intermediate bodies that mate with the cam profiles on the driving and driven half-couplings. Each protrusion on both half-couplings is made in the form of a pair of protrusions spaced along one axis. In each pair of protrusions along their axes, holes are made into which intermediate bodies are inserted, which are intersecting guides. In each intermediate body, one of the guides is inserted into the holes of the pair of projections on the driving half of the coupling, and the guide crossing with it is inserted into the holes in the pair of projections of the driven half of the coupling.
EFFECT: increase in the load capacity of the mechanism is provided.
