FIELD: metals inhibitory protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the inhibitory protection of metals from corrosion, namely: to methods of accelerated assessment of the protective properties of corrosion inhibitors of steel reinforcement in concrete. The method includes measuring the time until a sharp increase in the current density of dissolution of steel reinforcing concrete, containing sodium chloride from 3 to 4% by weight of cement and a test inhibitor, while a sharp increase in the current density is taken to be its increase to 50-100 mcA/cm2, and the steel is exposed under conditions of capillary suction of moisture and anodic polarization from a direct current source with a voltage of 1.2 - 1.6 V, based on the data obtained, the tested inhibitors are ranked in order of increasing protective ability.
EFFECT: development of a method for an accelerated comparative assessment of the protective properties of corrosion inhibitors of steel reinforcement in concrete, the results of which coincide with the results of field tests.
