FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and protection of ferrous metals and can be used to protect reinforced concrete structures made using low-carbon steels, promising for use in transport, industrial, civil construction and power engineering. Method of producing a corrosion inhibitor for steel reinforcement in concrete involves synthesis of products of modifying epoxidated triglycerides of sunflower oil with diethanolamine and products of modifying methyl esters of fatty acids of sunflower oil with diethanolamine. Diethanolamine and epoxidated triglycerides or epoxidated methyl esters of fatty acids of sunflower oil, containing from 14 to 24 carbon atoms and up to 90% of epoxy groups, are reacted with weight ratio of reagents epoxidated derivatives:diethanolamine = 1.45:1, respectively. Mixture of diethanolamine and epoxidated triglycerides or epoxidated methyl esters of fatty acids of sunflower oil are maintained without solvent while stirring in vacuum of 70 mbar at temperature 135 °C for 4 hours while adding a catalyst - sodium methylate - in amount of 0.4% of the total weight of the load.
EFFECT: providing degree of protection from 50% to 62% at change of concentration of Cinh from 1 to 0.1 g/dm3, increase of time to beginning of corrosion in 2 times, reduction of density of corrosion current in 2–8 times relative to concrete without additive after beginning of corrosion.
