FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid distributor for a separating device, such as a mass transfer column, in particular for a nozzle column for absorption, desorption, purification or distillation, wherein the liquid distributor contains at least one distribution element having two or more outlets for liquid discharge in the form of jets, and additionally contains at least one shield located in front of outlets, so that liquid jets exiting through outlets of a distribution element, hit the surface of at least one shield and deform on it into thin films of flowing liquid, wherein at least one of at least one shield is made at least partially of carbon reinforced with fiber. The invention also concerns a column for mass transfer, a shield for a liquid distributor for a separating device, the use of a liquid distributor or a column.
EFFECT: providing excellent chemical resistance of the liquid distributor shield, in particular, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical strength, for example, in particular, high rigidity, as well as improved wettability, shield material makes it easy and inexpensive to give the shield a complex shape.
