FIELD: tattoo equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotary-type tattoo machine and can be used for applying artistic tattoos, permanent makeup, identification marks on humans and animals. The tattoo machine contains a DC motor located in the housing and powered by a battery built into the housing, which is connected through an eccentric assembly to a shock-absorbing rod for reciprocating its end connected to a pusher, to which a needle or a cartridge pusher with a needle is removably attached - pistonwise movement in the rail on which the hand holder is fixed. The machine is equipped with a unit for changing the amplitude of the pistonwise movement of the needle. The pusher of the pistonwise movement drive is made in the form of an elongated plate, one end of which is hinged on the body for the possibility of swinging this plate relative to the body. In the body of the plate, a slot is made longitudinally along the length of the plate. Depressions and protrusions are made along the length of the slot to form a toothed rack. The end of the connecting rod, connected to the pusher, through the bearing is seated on an axis, one end of which is made with teeth for engaging with a toothed rack and which is movable in the direction from the toothed rack to move this axis along the toothed rack to change the amplitude of the pistonwise movement of the needle by changing the distance between the place where the connecting rod is attached to the pusher and the place where the pusher is attached to the body. The shock-absorbing connecting rod is made of a curved shape of an elastically deformable material in the area between its ends connected with the eccentric unit and the pusher.

EFFECT: reducing the risk of injury to the movement of the needle when it comes into contact with the skin due to the use of amortization of the stroke of the needle and adjusting its amplitude during tattooing with the DC motor turned on.
